The story follows Jess, a separated mother and nurse who moves back into her old family farmhouse with her daughter and young son Owen. Soon after settling in, the family dog bites Owen, giving him a mysterious infection. When Jess discovers the disturbing cure, she is tested on the lengths she’ll go to keep her child alive.
